Me? Yoga -led & mysore (1st & 2nd series), beach walking, gym (24Hr), paddleboarding…

* I drink wine. To help my back/spine (I’ve got constant pain-boo!), that is. And I already eat blueberries. READ HERE for the scoop on why this is.

TIP: Replace your usual beverage, or if that’s water…in addition to your beverage, with some WHITE tea (leaves) to help in fat loss. Supposedly b/c it is less processed than black & green tea, it has more of the helpful active compounds. Drink up!

* Do you eat at the Cheesecake Factory off their ginormous menu? I’m not even talking about the cheesecake! [I haven't had it there since...I don't know when. I thought I was being "good", and truthfully, you are FULL already with the meal.] But, (omg)  CLICK HERE and you will be amazed by calorie and fat content of some of the fish, chicken and salad entrees! Well over 1200 kcals! Higher than many of their cheesecakes. You can also check against calorielab’s website. I’m no longer living blissfully in ignorance.

* suggested eating (vegan)(meal) for 7/3/09: oatmeal with a TB of either PB, cashew or almond butter! I have not tried the sunflower seed butter at Trader Joes but that sounds like a tasty protein addition as well.

*Conversely, for those that are trying to decrease their dairy intake AND don’t want to rely heavily on soy, I’ve been using ‘almond milk’ instead and it’s wonderful. You can easily make this at home but it’s available in the stores as well. The only issue is that there is not much protein per serving (~1gm).

* Remember my acronym: YMMV! = “Your mileage may vary.”  What works (in diet, fitness, exercise, FASHION…) for some doesn’t work for every ONE.

* Julianne Moore is 48 years old. FORTY-EIGHT YEARS OLD and still a fit chick. And as tan as the MOON.

Her dermatologist must be proud.
