Add to Technorati Favorites airport style for July, part one

There is a lot to post so I thought I’d break it up over 2 days.

Today is *like* a DIY in that we are discussing how you…and me…and other fit chicks travel.

While dressing for comfort without looking sloppy, and without packing too many unrelated outfit pieces is still an on-going challenge, I think I have the in-flight essentials NAILED. (Did I confess my utter hatred fear of flying despite being a freq. flyer?!)

Essentials shown: glass of vino, Bose headphones, iPhone, SkyMall magazine, flaxseed neck pillow (bottom of pic), 3 bottles of water, bag of gossip & fashion mags

Essentials not shown: travel socks, Xanax, Emergen-C Vit C packets, neosporin ointment (up my nose)…(seriously)

Essentials forgotten: lavender oil for relaxation & bug repellent!

Most of the chicks I spied on recently wore some variation of this:

But surprisingly, I saw a lot of maxi dresses which I suppose is a great option too for comfort and style (versus the crotch grazing minidresses Posh travels in…) :

Personally, I prefer some combination of the outfit here: layered asymetrical basics with wrap cardigan/poncho, ripped jeans, shoulder bag and handheld tote, sandals or flips.
