fashion is cruel…

There are times (frequently!) when I think fashion is cruel.

A sport of interest for those with cup sizes smaller than a C (and the inherently reed thin bod that usually goes with them) and feet smaller than a 7 (& narrow, of course).

  Those CL “click clack’s” that I posted about HERE will not be coming home to mama. Not because by the time my butt got to the boutique, they were sold out (which is usually the case for anything I want) but my feet…or the shoe…or both, just weren’t willing to make it work. And lordy knows I really tried. Unless I want to be carried from car to function to car again (not likely to happen), I can’t do it.

My outfit today was inspired by shopbop’s facebook email about zippers. I decided to call this my ’soft punk’ look since I incorporated exposed zippers on the skirt and shoes and safety pins on the shirt. I could’ve styled this better by having a less voluminous top but since the skirt falls more like an A-line, and because the top has a deep V,…and because I have a big chest (**rolls eyes**), it works.
