suggested workout: incorporate an exercise ball just as Mena’s doing below. But it’s not only for Abs (though there are a ZILLION variations!) b/c you can do butt, shoulders, back and more.

- Suggested eating for good sources of protein: fresh baked WHOLE GRAIN bread (not whole wheat), low-sugar almond milk (with much less fat then the actual nut), or a veggie burger!!!
- I posted about the shocking caloric content of foods at THIS particular restaurant. Well, my friends, I’m further shocked to have read up re: Claim Jumper’s offerrings! You know that drink menu that is often at the center of the table next to the salt and pepper? The one you peruse in between ordering and getting your meal?! In the back of theirs is the nutritional value of most of the meals, soups, sandwiches and salads. The veggie burger that I chose had 1700 cals!!! Unless you eat their charbroiled asparagus, you’re not getting out there without having consumed most of your day’s calories- especially now that they’ve taken out their great soup and salad bar(s)!!!!
- Challenge: Just for today, try to eat only foods that are not processed (or otherwise made in a plant/factory and/or with chemical preservatives). And that means no: chips, fries, cokes, pastries, bagels, cereals, 100 cal “snackpacks”…Can you do it?
