Add to Technorati Favorites shopping re-cap…

Barney’s has been running a big denim sale. I think they happen to have the most current lines/styles out there in a brick&mortar venue.

I got there at the tail end of it this weekend but *still* managed to score some great finds. I really wanted to post an ensemble & review with one of the pairs this week…

Yeah! Kinda like how this week’s been going.

Noooooo the store alarm did not go off!

There’s no way, if it had, that I would’ve thought “not me”, gone on my merry way, just to have the pleasure of trying to take these pesky things off at home. [I can't.] They go back. But the good news  is that b/c the sale is still going on, these were only about $23! But I’m still pissed I have to go back.

But, and these I did not get from Barney’s, I’m IN LOVE with my new skinny, zipper leg, ones from Genetic Denim. I happen to think that Genetic uses some of the softest material out there. [highly highly recommend these]

Zara had some really great F/W items! I haven’t had much luck with the selection and quality of the summer inventory but I could’ve bought a lot more there this weekend than I did. This is place if you want to pick up and try furry vests, studded booties, blazers, etc. for the season.

But I’m still struggling with the whole moving process so even finding time to workout this week has been a stretch. But workouts first, cute outfits 2nd…unfortunately. Stay positive. Stay grateful. (okay head, okay!)

I have friends who grew up in “loud” households. They say there was a lot of screaming and yelling. So, they are very quiet now as a direct result of their upbringing. They now live in houses where there isn’t a lot of that going on, in general.

I grew up in a loud house where older family members (parental units included) weren’t honest and there was a lot of lie telling for self-protection. As a consequence, I hate that personality trait with a passion. I can usually pick up on people who tend to be less-than-honest and I run like my butt’s on fire and the bucket of water is a mile away.

Here’s something to chew on: how do you feel when somebody treats you like you’re clueless? Or when you catch someone in a lie & they think you haven’t figured it out?

How do you let that person know, or do you?

Or, if you don’t, how do you just let it go?! <- that’s the real question.
