Add to Technorati Favorites bagel and schmeerrrrr…

(Scene: Crowded morning bagel and coffee spot with outdoor seating. Dog-friendly.)

me: Can my puppy meet your puppy

lady: Oh NO! She just got her last series of shots for a 12wk old. You never know…

me: He’s vaccinated and clean. He helps us foster other kittens and puppies…

lady: yeah, well…that’s why she (points to her..??..grandaughter??) is holding him. (Turns to talk to the strangers at the next table who were just smothering all over him.

As she talks about how exclusive his pedigree is.

And as she WALKS perfect fine from her handicapped parking spot.)

On days like this, I’m reminded I live in the OC. Where an attitude of entitlement is inherent (mostly).

Dear OC b*tch, Next time you think about taking your precious, pedigreed pup out, don’t take him to the spot where EVERYONE goes on weekend mornings WITH THEIR DOGS unless you want petting hands, other slobbery mouths, and just general crazyness being exposed to your doggie dearest. You live here. You know. So perhaps next time you  want to show off your pampered pooch, don’t park right in front in the handicapped spot and walk out in your gym attire.

AND NEXT TIME, RESCUE A PUPPY!!!!!!!! He’s dog. Not a trophy.

Just a thought.
