It’s SO good to be back! Though my luggage isn’t. Big FAIL shout out to Delta who lost my luggage both on the way out (returned to me 4 days later…) AND the way in.
Big FAB to my Sketcher’s Shape-ups; they’re very comfy and I put them to the test both by the amount of walking I did…and the amount of eating. Plus, they were the only shoes I had for part of the trip (see above) -besides my heels. I drew a fair amount of stares from snarky Milanese women.
In Milan you wear heels or boots. Period. With a puffy jacket. Sadly, their amount of outfit preparation for Italian (& French) women for daily “going on’s” does leave most Americans looking rather disheveled.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS pack your high-end heels with you.
I am convinced that the Italian Riveria, more so than France, IS Europe’s Orange County!
And Cannes and Monte Carlo are… like a nice Miami.

I think Hilary and Jen have taken over Posh’s title as the most often featured celeb in Travel Tuesday posts! But not to despair, there are plenty of Posh this week too. And with different outfits in each travel jaunt, unlike the 2 formerly mentioned.
