…weight?! THIS CHICK!

Don’t know how I did it, really. (Could it have been the addition of these?) I drank 1/2 a bottle of wine every night (and NO ill effects the next day…it was like I was a teenager again! *wink wink*), and went totally carb heavy! (Ohhhh the pasta and foccacia! And ALL the other bread!) I ate “3 squares” a day which is something I’m NOT used to- I’m a smoothie and then dinner girl, w/ water in between. Coffee= breakfast to me, usually.

Everything is just SO fresh & natural there.

The bad side, I have to rant on my interval training. I’ve cut down on the longer cardio sessions and gym classes in favor of high intensity interval training and stair running. On one leg of the flight, I had to run to make a connecting. 2 others on the same flights, passed me up! I had to stop b/c I just couldn’t keep sprinting even though it was the same terminal. Once onboard and settled, the flight attendant came over and asked me if I was a SMOKER. (NO! And I don’t think social smoking in my 20’s would do this!)

Bummer.

Burn 30% more calories by doing “supersets” of exercises versus the “usual” gym workout and split day schedule?

Supposedly, if you read the information from Turbulence Training! Sounds good to me! The subjects in the research mentioned did 4 sets of 10 reps of 6 exercises. Those that did them in “super set” format burned 30% more calories per minute. PLUS, you get out of the gym faster that way.

Unless…you kind of dig the social aspect of it. That’s fine too.
