NO Posh this week?!?!
Not yet, anyway. But the usual “frequent flyers” are here like Kim K. & Jen (-the latter with the usual flying ‘uniform’ intact… sans the revealing midriff this time!)
Did you know that the airlines must reimburse you for delayed or lost luggage?
And that includes if they delay it on your inbound trip (meaning, you’re already going home to your things)?
Anddddd if it’s your outbound trip, that you can go out and buy essential toiletries and clothes right away instead of waiting a day or 2? (B/c when they TELL you it’s arriving might be later than when it actually does. If at all.)
TIP: Many of the airlines are NOT assigning seats even if you make your reservations well enough in advance. How it’s happening on all of my recent flights: online -or on the phone- the agent will tell you your seats will be assigned at check-in. The check-in desk at the airport will tell you that’s not true, issue you a paper reservation and tell you the gate will assign seats. When you get to the gate, you will wait in line with the other people they did this to, for the gait agent to show up. Good luck getting a seat you want or an upgrade; they will tell you that you should’ve done this at check-in. When you tell them, you, of course, asked…they will say, again, that what you were told is not true; you should’ve gotten your seat at check-in. This is the ultimate form of pass the buck. THIS is why you want to get there early. Many airlines are cancelling flights and cramming everyone on the next flights, therefore creating “oversold” situations. You want to make sure you’re early enough to get a (any) seat, and get onboard.
TIP: If you get an exit row seat and you think it’s your lucky day (”more leg room“) but you plan on resting or sleeping, ask the agent to make sure the seats in that row recline! Many do not. And the armrests do not lift up. Unless you’re able to sleep in a 90/90 degree position, lucky you!!
TIP: Cargo pants! “Utilitarian” chic is on trend. After carefully re-arranging once you pass security (b/c you will have to clear your pockets), put your iPod, headphones, I.d., snacks, etc. etc. etc. in your pockets! This is especially useful for airports like Heathrow that only allow ONE carry-on (not the purse and carry-on “usual” or at LAX: purse, carry-on, bag with water/snacks/mags…) or at Spirit airlines where they will be charging YOU for your carry-on’s. Once onboard, organize however you damn like! In fact, pull everything out and arrange it like those Russian dolls: open a large one and take out a size smaller bag, then open that one and take out another bag a size smaller, and so on and so on and so on….
FAB. But I’m trying to overlook the Uggs she’s wearing…
Minor fab. The maxi dress for travel is cool but the super long cardigan thing looks weird. In the other pics, she adds a baseball hat to this ensemble. uh huh.
FAB. She’s traveling by private plane so she can, essentially, wear whatever the hell she wants.
minor fail for the shiny leggings and the shirt that doesn’t quite cover & the leather jacket w/ ‘those shoes’ combo.
Love her anyway
Yee haw! Fab. Can’t see the shoes though
FAB but…these look like they are, or could double as, rain boots. Kinda odd for flying but would’ve been difficult to pack.
fail-tastic! Unflattering leggings. Hose under those peep toes just looks bizarre. And the midriff.
From, or around, the 3rd of April:
FAB, though I would’ve gone with another shoe choice then those cage booties for that outfit…
from the 5th:
from the 6th:
and apparently there is one flight even more recent in the last few days…can’t find it yet.
How DOES the girl do it?!?! Not so much the close but the JET LAG! (And…well…I guess she has no fear of flying, unlike someone I know…Intimately…Personally…) ![]()
