It’s not as easy as it looks, chicks! Oh, and I tried
I nearly put back my CL pigalle leopard flats for those kitten heels (above) when they first came out.
What I realized quickly, though, is that although kitten heels are “foot friendly”, they may not necessarily be outfit or style friendly.
The kitten heel style lends itself to feminine or minimalist looks. Period.
It doesn’t go well with juxtaposing different combinations of high/low-end or edgy with flirty and floral.
In fact, sometimes a kitten heel looks just plain stupid as a “go to” or “throw on” shoe.
If your style lends itself to very girly or minimalist (think: pantsuits & suits in general, monochromatic simple pieces..) then it’s a good move.
If not, like myself, tread lightly!
