* There is an ad that runs on TheFitChick (I don’t pick ‘em) for ’special shoes’. Not the orthopedic or granny kind but new shoes that are *supposedly* part of the trending in fitness footwear. I don’t know about these in particular but I have heard good things about the Sketchers that tone the butt. [...]

Prior to most peoples’ holiday vacations, Kristin Davis took her tropical vacation.
I haven’t found much on her specific “regime” so perhaps she doesn’t have one. She does do some yoga, pilates, and walking. Her eating habits have been described as “healthy” and she’s a frequent (every 3 hours) eater.
She will be 45 years old next [...]

These H&M grey sweater-like leggings are delish. love.

…why not?
Because it’s more important than exercising!
Do you exercise to lose weight? Then I’m very curious as to your thoughts on this: CLICK HERE
The subject of exercising has been all over the press this week -i.e. an Oprah email blast and Times mag article.
I’ve discussed this with other educated health and fitness professionals before too; if you had [...]

Sugar seems to be everywhere in food! It’s hidden in there. Some justify the intake because of sugar’s inherently low fat content. [I know several skinny chicks who *snack* (!!) on things like gummy bears & jelly bellies.] But the overt items that we *know* sugar is in (baked goods, breads, all things tasty!) DO have fat [...]
I’ve become the cliche of a blond living in SoCal; I ordered a surf board. A longboard in fact. With “camo” detailing.

Which makes [...]
yes, I’m obsessed with how great these…ahem…no offense to anyone…older women look! So far, I’ve only posted bikini pictures of women in their 40’s as inspiration. As I’ve said/written before, you can only photoshop so much; they wouldn’t take the pics and have the articles written if they were hideous IRL. Furthermore, I do realize [...]
she’s 48! I eat like a monk and work out 2-4 hrs a day and i STILL don’t look like that. Well, I’m assuming there may have been a bit a photoshopping involved…but not that much. You cannot fake a good bod to that extent. Dang! (source: PerezHilton.com)
So I’m putting together a compilation of what I think are some better lower body, upper body, cardio, & core exercise ideas. ** Coming Soon**
I thought today I’d give some suggestions regarding “tempo” of your exercises. Your exercise “routine” should be changed up and like EVERYTHING ELSE you will EVER hear [or SEE ] me [...]
sorta. I’ve read for YEARS that the best “cardio” machine for fitness is the treadmill followed by the stationary bike. I’ve also switched my weight routine to a bodyweight routine. Here’s an excerpt of an email I received from Craig Ballantyne of TurbulenceTraining.com He has some great exercise videos up on YouTube, as well.
