Fit On the Mat:
I realized the other day that when I started this blog, I was getting more serious about my yoga practice. I had previously been taking classes most at the local gym but switched allegiance to an actual yoga studio. And my blog was coming along with me. Then I took yoga teacher [...]
I was specifically referring to Alexander Wang-my love of his designs for clothing, shoes and bags. While having owned some of the previous 2 mentionable, the latter I had not gotten my hands on until earlier this summer. I present it NOW because it’s a nice bag to fall into FALL with!
Mine is a [...]

It occurred to me this summer, that I’ve been somewhat of a hamster on a wheel. Or spinning my wheels. [Often, literally -aka. a spin class or 2.]

* How about an easy, healthy meal idea?
Yum = raw, organic zucchini, cubed + tahini (sauce) + 1/2 avocado + chickpeas/garbanzo beans.
If you want to get really crazy, add spinach or mixed organic greens and make it a salad!
* Have you switched over to “pink” salt? You should. Salt your food w/o guilt! But…
What’s better [...]

In addition to shoe shoppin and kitten sittin’, I’ve been preparing to take teacher training to be a certified yoga teacher. It’s a 200 hour program to start and the 10 day intensive starts in TWO weeks!
There are a host of books to buy and start reading before I go as well [...]
Click here to read the post on which veggies/fruits you *should* be eating. Organically.
Here are additional produce tips:
Ripen at room temperature: plums, potatoes, cantaloupes, mangoes
Ripen in a paper bag: nectarines, peaches
Avoid shriveled/wrinkled or bruised fruit and veggies as well as those with darkened stems
Other than looking for the “ORGANIC” section in your supermarket, you can [...]
