Yogi’s say that “clearing” your chakras is much like wiping your windshield of all the junk. Or polishing your jewelry to make it shine and reflect. It assists your overall energy and well-being.
Who couldn’t use a lot more of THAT in her life?
A previous post referred you to a site to “test” [...]

an INVERSION MACHINE!
A long time back, I posted this picture:

I wondered, “what the what?!”. The newbie version of a yoga headstand?!

Suzanne Somers-Sexy Forever recent newsletter posting for “How to Fight Fat Over Forty” did not have a way to re-tweet or link but I thought the information definitely bared repeating:
The Spice of Life

All those spices and herbs in your spice rack can do more than add a little extra kick to your meals — they [...]

On the Mat:
“Utthita Parsvakonasana”
 (source: shareyoga.com)
Seperate the words out and in sanskrit, it means:
Utthita - (”oo-TEE-tah”) = extended
Parsva - (”PARS-vah”)  = side
Kona - (”cone-NAH”) = angle
(and we all remember what “asana” is, right?!)
Some teachers will cue your hand placement as on the ankle, on the inside of the leg (touching or not touching the floor), or [...]
